Guests will receive a refund if we are given five days notice of a cancellation. The refund amount will be the full amount you paid LESS our credit card processing fees. The fee is not refundable to us and equates to 2.9% of the booking value +30 cents.

Cancellations given within five days, no shows, or early departures, will not forfeit their payment amount.
We understand that mountain roads can be hazardous but we expect guests to estimate their mountain driving capabilities and also operate/rent suitable vehicles for these conditions. We also understand that highway delays and closures can happen unexpectedly and we do not wish guests to put themselves in dangerous situations. Based on this we will provide refunds when CDOT (the Colorado Department of Transport), via CoTrip.org, issues a road closure on Highway 91 and/or 24 and Interstate 70 for an extended period of time.
We are a small, family-run business that relies on our lodging income to support ourselves. We appreciate you understanding our circumstances in these situations. We also recommend domestic travel insurance to help with the cost of cancellations if we are unable to provide a refund in your circumstance.
