This boutique guesthouse is Rick & Bec's second venture in the beautiful & majestic mountain town of Leadville CO. Take a step back in time and stay in one of our five private rooms at this grandly kept 1880's Victorian home. Boasting a downtown location & a laid-back communal family vibe, the outdoor adventurer in you will also get a taste of living in a bygone Victorian era.

The Majestic is a communal style guesthouse. Less of a hotel, and more like a home away from home. Guests use their personal and secure code for an easy self check-in and you may come and go as you please.  All rooms have their own individual room keys for privacy and security. Guests have access to the communal aspects of the house including the kitchen, dining room, living room, and outdoor areas. With the historic beauty and age of the house comes the usual creaks and squeaks of an 100 year old house. The house has been lovingly restored to keep it's old-time charm but with the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable.

The hosts live on site and can help when needed but our standard is to provide you with a self check-in process. Our co-hosts or us are around most of the time, and quite often our 8 and 4 year old will check you in!  But if you have any problems on arrival and we are not around there is a sign at the entry door with instructions, as well as our contact phone numbers. Please don't hesitate to call or text.

There are 5 guest rooms in  total (3 downstairs and 2 upstairs), as well as the host's quarters upstairs, and it can accommodate up to 12 guests at any one time, so you may find yourself in a big house on your own or if we have a full house (which is often the case, especially around event times) you may find the house full of a whole bunch of people, probably like-minded and often visiting Leadville to do the same thing you are.

Built in the 1880's and home to many prominent Leadvillians, this house is full of character and history. Although meticulously maintained over the years, the house is old and has it's creaks and its squeaks. But as always our goal is to provide you with a clean, warm and friendly place to stay. If you like the outdoors, meeting new folks and love everything that Leadville has to offer, this is the place for you!
